Something's missing.

I had to kiss Greg's cute face goodbye for a week because of work.
It stinks.
I am a baby about separating from Greg.
And I hope and pray I don't go into labor so he doesn't have to drive home to me in a frenzy.

Last night he took me out for a nice date that was filled with Mexican food and a movie.
Then he got up on this beer sponsored over-sized chair to make me even happier!
I love you Greg.

30 days.

Wow. That's crazy sauce. But it's about time!

Ruffles.

Here is yet another product of my nesting habits and a whole Saturday to myself. I think it turned out rather cute.

Stone Arch Bridge.

Gregory and I took a little trip into Minneapolis to visit the historic stone arch bridge.

We hiked around the Mississippi river banks and I had to climb about a million stairs which Greg thought was going to induce labor.
We ran into an arts festival going on and tried our luck out with hula hooping and juggling sticks.
Greg actually owns juggling sticks at home. He loves them. I call them the male version of the baton.

And then Charlotte thought pooping in the middle of stone arch bridge with crowds of people around us would be a good idea. Now that is what I call a fun day!

Whole wheat pizza.

Homemade whole wheat pizza topped with ham and pineapple made by me. It was easy, nutritious, and yummy in my opinion and Greg even enjoyed it too. I just need to work on my pizza shape making skills.

Glorious sun.

I thought I would share this random shot of part of the top of my belly on a warm sunny day because I think it's pretty neat looking. And I wish it was sunny today instead of raining like it is. It's sad.

Weekend of new.

Over the weekend I got a new hair color and tan.
(Thanks Tara)

A new bouquet of flowers from Gregory.
(Thanks Greg)

Charlotte developed a new talent of swimming.
(You are welcome for the bum shot of Greg by the way)

And a new favorite place to eat. Just what I need.

My version of nesting.

I suppose this is my version of "nesting, " sewing a bunch of stuff to make me feel somewhat prepared. Here is a car seat cover with our new car seat underneath. We even have a stroller as well! Now what else do you need for a baby? Please tell me...

Wordless Wednesday.

The gang.

Fierce looking group aren't they?
Charlotte has made friends with our friends the Thuesons' chihuahuas, Ellie and Diesel. At first they hated Charlotte, but now she is part of their little gang after barking at dogs together that are a million times bigger than them on walks and being forced to be in the same apartment almost every day.
Oh, and they even let Charlotte hog all their food when she visits. Isn't that what friends are for?

It actually felt like summer.

Yesterday, was perfect summer weather because of the following reasons:

A. Charlotte frolicked around a water fountain.

B. Flowers were a bloomin' and lookin' pretty.

C. I got to wear a skirt.

D. My face has sprouted even more freckles from the wonderful sun.

E. And my hands were getting real chubby because of the heat while pregnant.
I was loving life. Now it is rainy all day and not warm one bit. I miss the desert weather in the summer that is Utah.

A night out.

I love summer nights and going out, but unfortunately with Greg's summer time job, this rarely happens because of the hours he works. Last week the company paid for the employees to go out to dinner which is nice because we are then forced to go out!
I take pictures of my food often, but this time it was actually for a purpose! Kristen or Janel, which one of your husband's love Buffalo Wild Wings place? It sure is yummy and now I am a fan. Their wraps and wings are fabulous.

Mickey's Dining Car.

Greg and I went with our friends the Thuesons out to eat at Mickey's Dining Car in St. Paul, Minnesota. This isn't just a regular dining cart, this dining cart has been in movies, like all 3 of the Mighty Ducks and much more! Not only were Tara and I ecstatic to eat there, our husbands were too.

The night was filled with cheap, but delicious food, and laughing really loud which probably annoyed the rest of the customers in the tiny car.

Oldies music was playing throughout our dinner and even the boys couldn't help but sing and dance!

Jumping for joy couldn't be missed either! (Don't worry Madre, I barely would hop and I promised I landed very carefully) And I know I look wonderfully big jumping through the air.

The fine Mickey's workers told us to come back with our baby. We said, "Of course we will Mickey's! We had a blast and our baby soon will too!"
