Family love.

I was able to take pictures for my friend Heather's family.
There are so many cute kids in this family, it honestly made it hard to focus on taking the picture because the kids would make me laugh they were so cute! Does that make sense at all?

What did I blog about or take pictures of before Lydia came?

Quick trip to St. George.

Madre needed to go down to St. George for work for a couple of days and invited me along for the ride last week since Greg is busy in school.

I was able to visit my Dad and step-mom and they loved being able to get some time with Lydia.

Lydia met a cousin named Claire who is almost a month younger than her.
The difference between them was quite comical. Lydia has turned into a girl with more than a little junk in the trunk, and Claire is just tiny!

We also figured that just one of Lydia's eyes is the same size of both of Claire's.
What cuties these two are!

Lydia got a lot of cat naps in while I got to eat out.

And that's what I call a good quick trip.

Now all she needs is a horse.

Gush.

The first time I saw Lydia smile was when she was about 12 hours old in the hospital.
My heart just gushed.
Now the older she gets, the more my heart gushes with every smile!
I can't help it! And I don't know what "gush" even means, but that is what I feel.
Any other moms out there that experience this phenomenon of gushing?

Lydia's blessing day.

On September 13th, Lydia received her baby blessing from Gregory.
He did a wonderful job and the blessing was quite beautiful.
Lydia was in such a happy mood as soon as she woke up that morning, smiling and cooing at us all morning long as we were getting ready. I think she knew it was a special day.

Many family members and friends took time to come celebrate with us on this day.
It was wonderful to have them all there to support us.

Greg and I both teared up several different times during the day because of the spirit we felt that day. We are so blessed!
