Gush.

Photobucket
The first time I saw Lydia smile was when she was about 12 hours old in the hospital.
My heart just gushed.
Now the older she gets, the more my heart gushes with every smile!
I can't help it! And I don't know what "gush" even means, but that is what I feel.
Any other moms out there that experience this phenomenon of gushing?

It is life's greatest phenomenon, because that love just multiplies as the months go by. She is such a lovely baby.

it is when your heart grows. It always makes me think of the scene at the end of the grinch cartoon when his heart grows three sizes bigger and breaks the outline that is showing how small it is. Love intensified. Makes everything better.

I have a theory. The first milestones are smiling then laughing. God knew what he was doing. That is the only thing that gets you through the sleepless nights and the crying and the exploding diapers. Those two things make you fall head over heels in love and you wouldn't care what else happened. If the first milestone was sitting or walking I don't think it would be the same effect.

She is gorgeous. Makes me crazy baby hungry.

Trust me the gushing just gets more and more powerful. She is such a cutie. I can see why she makes your heart gush.
