Bibs and burp cloths.

I made a few bibs and burp cloths using a towel on sale from wal-mart for the backing of them instead of terry cloth to save a few dollars. The towel material is going to work out great to soak baby stuff up but it sure was a mess cutting the towel up! Little towel pieces are everywhere in our apartment, but it was worth saving some money because I am just that cheap.

It's a poopy clutch.

I found this cute poopy clutch tutorial and just had to make it to keep my baby's diapers and wipes in. I forgot to use interfacing to make the structure a bit stronger, but it still turned out A-okay. I found the tutorial here!

A day in the life of Charlotte.

She enjoys watching our building's courtyard for hours to see what dog/person/anything will come out the doors next. Thrilling isn't it?

Reason #26 of why we love summer.

We get to have BBQ's with friends and enjoy the warm weather.

I want me some Red Robin.

The night before Greg and I left for Minnesota, we went to Red Robin with my family. Can I tell you how much I love the fries there? I could eat a whole bucket full which sounds disgusting but I love them that much. I want to go back at least twice before this little girl comes in July and then after that I won't have an excuse to eat a bucket full of fries. As you can see in the pictures, the little girl likes the fries too.

By the way, does anyone know a cute single gal to set my brother Kade (the only boy in the white shirt) up with? He's awfully cute, very single, a college graduate, owns a house, competes in triathlons, and oh so much more. I am terrible at setting people up so please do it for me!

The baby's first shower.

The baby had it's first showering of presents the Saturday before we left Utah with Greg's side of the family. Greg's cousins wife Sara threw the shower and she did such a fabulous job with such short notice. I can't thank her enough!
We received such great presents and I can't wait to put them to good use soon!

Dear Madre,

Happy Mothers Day! Show off that tiger stripped pedicure tomorrow that we got for your mothers day present. I know I will be showing off my green pedicure even though you didn't approve of it. Haha.

For Madre and family.

Greg and I arrived safely to Minneapolis on Wednesday. The drive went great except for the constant rain we were driving through.

Charlotte slept 90% of the time in funny little positions between us on a pillow or cuddled with the passenger. And for some reason she ended up with a napkin on her head while sleeping this time.

I have already been out and about a little and went to a childrens museum with friends here. Greg was amazed I could fit into this turtle shell. Mean.

There is a nice walking trail for Charlotte and I where I can take pregnant shadow picks!

Our apartments hallways are all indoors so Charlotte and I kind of feel like we live in a hotel.

We are living right in downtown St. Paul, the city right next to Minneapolis, which is quite fun.
