Finally...

my internet is up and running again! I have been without it since Friday night because our modem froze up or something like that. It just got fixed this morning and of course I had to blog!
Last Friday, I went with my friends Michelle and Jen to a movie in Freedom Park. It was so fun just hanging out on a blanket eating treats with friends! The only thing that would have made it better would be if our husbands could have made it.
Charlotte and I. She looks like a stuffed animal. I love it!
Jen and Michelle.
Michelle's baby Cale! He is stinkin adorable.
This pic is a funny story. There were little gnats flying everywhere before the movie started. I felt so itchy and kept feel especially itchy under my shirt, front and back! I checked down my front and found little bugs down there! Gross! I wanted someone to get the little bugs out of the back of my shirt so I say to Jen, "Jen, will you look down my shirt please!!"

Jen of course thought I meant down the front of my shirt and was a little freaked out! But she finally got what I meant and got the bugs off my back! Thanks Jen!

Charlotte was being such a little pill! She would not sit still and she has a bit of a barking problem at other dogs. So ANNOYING! She will never listen to me when I tell her no either! Does anybody have any ideas on how to discipline a dog about barking?!
Now on to my next adventure...

Michelle had heard of this battle reenactment of a Revolutionary War battle taking place in South Carolina. She told me about it and of course I had to go!

We drove the 45 minutes to get down there, get out of the car and we hear the battle already taking place! We both get so excited and start walking up to the ticket counter. When we got there I realized I dropped my cash somewhere! So I ran back to the car and tried to find it but no luck. I hurry and paid with my credit card instead but by the time that was all done the battle was finished! Michelle and I had no idea the battle only lasted like ten minutes!

We just laughed about it and walked up to the battlefield where the throngs of people are clearing and all we see are the soldiers doing this:

Lined up and the battle was finished! Darn it! But they had a lot of other things to look at so it wasn't such a bust!

The battle area had tents set up with old war things in them. I was taking a picture in this tent and a soldier walked by and told me to use his gun too! That thing was heavy!

While taking pictures with these soldiers, the soldier on the right put his hat on my head!
These soldiers sure were nice! No wonder they won the battle over those red coats! Ha ha!
Michelle and I strolled around and got to walk through old 1700 homes and stuff like that!

Here is the inside of a slave house on a plantation! Doesn't this look awful? It was so tiny inside!
Michelle and Cale coming out of the slave home.

And have you seen these?! I was so excited to buy one and finally I did yesterday. It is nail polish like a pen! You just click on the end on the color comes out the bottom in a brush.
It is very fun to play with but I am not impressed with the quality actually! It sure is convienient though!

I got the color pearl pink so if anybody has a different color and likes it let me know!

Charlotte is getting SO big! Sorry...no barking tips yet but, Coop's in puppy school so if the teacher ever says anything about it, I'll definitely pass the info on. ;)

Can't think of a better way to celebrate then going to a reenactment! How cool is that?! And I totally got one of those Color Quicks...I got the Clear Opal...it's convenient but not so great.
