Some fun with a spoon and pudding.

Life has been really busy lately.
Very good busy, but this makes me lazy with other things in life.
Like letting Lydia feed herself and letting her get real messy with food
while learning to use silverware.
Lydia will never learn how to use a spoon or fork
until I learn to relinquish my control!
A couple of weeks ago we had a nice laid back day
so I gave her a spoon and pudding and let her have fun.
I think she liked it.

She gave up the spoon halfway and began
just shovling it in with her hands.
That's my girl.

We definitely need more days like this.
But maybe I will choose foods that don't get so messy.
Although, chocolate pudding does look pretty darn cute on her.

YEA, just strip her down, and let her go to town on the pudding! it makes for less stains!

Seriously I am the exact same way! I never let my kids get messy. I love the way you put it...learn to relinquish my control...so true. I am still learning!
