Independence Day celebration, in detail.

9:00 AM- Parade in Provo, Utah.
Details:  I love a good parade.  Greg's doesn't like them, especially in Provo.
He wore his U of U hat to represent his team.  Kristen made star rice crispie treats.
Lydia was only scared of a loud noise once and got over it in less than 10 seconds.
A new record!

12:00 PM- Lunch and slip and slide at Nana's house.
Details: Lydia cried when on the slip and slide this time.  We had a yummy fiesta for lunch.
The girls like pretending to be cheerleaders.

5:00 PM- Dinner and the annual Miller softball game.
Details:  It took me about 10 pitches to hit my first ball.  Greg made a great catch.
Lydia ate a ton of watermelon.

9:00 PM- Fireworks at Grandma Miller's house.
Details:  We bought huge sparklers which Lydia wanted to touch.
Greg jumped over the fireworks holding another sparkler like a torch.
We played Neil Diamond's song "Coming to America" over and over
while watching fireworks.  And it was hilarious.
Oh and Lydia took her first steps right before the fireworks.

I am glad you got a picture of the star treats! I realized too late that I didn't get one. All the work & nothing to show for it ;)

I love a good parade too...Especially in PROVO! :) love the pic of Talan! I am going to steal it of your blog and use it on mine. Oh and also the pom pom one...isn't it alittle ironic, or I would say fabulous that there is a BYU football sign behind Kam cheering. Go cougars!!
I am SO glad that you guys were here to celebrate the 4th with us! LOVED IT!
