It took me a good hour and a half to wait for her to fall asleep and calm down enough before I got these shots of her. She sure is waking up a lot more now!I wish I had the energy last week to take pictures of her when she slept all the time and I could have molded her however I wanted. But she is a great night time sleeper for a newborn and that's more important!

Kara!!! She looks ADORABLE in all of these pictures. Oh my goodness. the one of her smiling is AWESOME!!!!! Such a cutie.
This is so random, I know - but I was just on Morgan F's blog and found your blog. You and your little family are so beautiful, and my little girl asks to see pictures of your "pretty flower baby" (as she puts it) after seeing the last post! If you don't mind, I want to check in once in a while - it always results in a lovely pastime for my little one and I.
Your pictures are divine. What a magical time for the three of you! Every moment so wonderful... even the frustrating ones. :) I remember being scared for Mel to wak from his newborn slumber... affraid that I wouldn't know what to do with him when he was awake! I also remember feeling that just as I got useto things, he would change, and throw me for a loop. It's just the beginning of adventures I'd imagined millions of times... that of course were so much different. I just love it all. Babies are amazing. I love to be a part of it all.
