I made a few bibs and burp cloths using a towel on sale from wal-mart for the backing of them instead of terry cloth to save a few dollars. The towel material is going to work out great to soak baby stuff up but it sure was a mess cutting the towel up! Little towel pieces are everywhere in our apartment, but it was worth saving some money because I am just that cheap.

When you said, "at least we keep busy with all of our hobbies," I thought to myself...I don't have any hobbies! I am no where near as talented as you! I really wish I would have made you teach me some stuff before you left! :)
K- Those are the cutest things! With our next kid (whenever that may be!) you need to show me how to make them. Shouldn't it be the older sister showing the younger sister how to make stuff not vice versa?
