I am addicted.

To a little white sewing machine. For my sister Kristen's birthday I made her an apron! She was begging me for months to make one for her. Just kidding. But she loves to cook and I love to give homemade presents especially to my favorite sister!
The front of the apron:

Here is the back! But wait, it's reversible!!!
Great pattern. Not too challenging at all! If you are interested here is the pattern.
After making the apron I embarked on the quest of sewing a quilt!
Making my quilt design.
Sewed the strips together.

Sewed the rows together then the back and batting of quilt. Sewed the binding on and now preparing myself to sew the binding to the back of the quilt.

Viola! Finished product! The quilt is a small lap quilt so basically baby sized.

Here is the back of the quilt.
It turned out well for my first quilt! It honestly wasn't that bad as I thought it was going to be.
The front of the quilt.
This quilt is just perfect for the 99 degree + humidity weather we are having here in North Carolina! Yowza is it hot out here!

Kara, this looks awesome! You make me want to be a sewer. How do I start? What kind of sewing machine do you have? Please just tell me everything I should know. :)
